Light Content, Yes, But It Is A Bank Holiday And You’re Lucky I’m Here At All When I Could Be Sat In Traffic On the M25 Like So Many Others

Review: ‘High Crimes’ by Michael Kodas

Was It Debussy Or Stravinsky Who Said That Music Occurred In The Spaces Between The Notes?

  1. I like it, but I’d like it a whole lot more if it was on the gatefold sleeve of a vinyl album. That was when album art meant something.

  2. It was released in about 1989, so I think it was on vinyl and CD (and cassette single) alike. Very lovely image, I have to say. The problem with downloads and CDs is there’s less tangible packaging and paraphenalia, isn’t there?

  3. Downloads in particular remove the pleasure of ownership. All you have to show for your purchase is some words on a screen.
